Attack Like a 2000 is my latest book, and it’s my favorite thing I’ve done in chess. It’s the book I wish I had when I was starting out. If you want to attack like the greats and play an energetic, swashbuckling, no-holds-barred style, take a look! I’m sure you’ll learn something!

Book Private LessonPrograms for students
Bring a structured chess program to your school. Chess is known to build patience, confidence, sportsmanship, and a lasting love for learning and understanding how things work.
Programs are tailored for beginners, but if the school has experienced players, that’s even better. Clubs can run after school or early before school, depending on what fits both parties’ schedules.

Lessons are for developing players who want structured instruction, advanced players who want to discuss or rethink their chess or build an attacking opening repertoire, and, of course, beginners! If you love the game, I’m happy to teach you.

The most affordable way to get access to my lessons is to help me build a small group of three to four motivated students. Small groups are some of the most effective ways for students to improve quickly when they are starting out.
One-on-one instruction can sometimes feel too intense or demanding when a student is just starting out, but having other students there makes it a more social and enjoyable experience.
The competitive nature of the group setting tends to have a positive effect on children, and it is also the most affordable option. If you have a child who has a sibling or friend who may also be interested in chess, or if you would like to join one of the smaller groups I am currently working with, reach out to me and I will tell you what your options are.
